Sky Broadband Unlimited is wonderfully convenient. It has unlimited usage which means that
everyone in your home can upload as many pictures or download as much music as they like.
You can also use it to connect to
Sky Anytime+, our on-demand service, so you can
enjoy your favourite movies and TV shows whenever it suits you. There’s never a worry that you’ve
used up your monthly data allowance.
Actually, there is one limitation: the four walls of your home. Right now you can’t use your
unlimited broadband connection when you go out.
But soon, you’ll be able to stay online when you’re out and about, as we’ll be launching ‘
WiFi Hotspots from the Cloud’ to our Sky Broadband and Connect customers.
It will mean seamless and easy access to over 10,000 Cloud WiFi hotspots across the country,
in places like Wagamama, Caffe Nero and Pizza Express. What’s more, you won’t have to pay any extra
fee for it: it’s free for Sky Broadband Unlimited and Connect customers.
The service will be really simple to use with specially designed Apps for Android and iPhone
to help you find your local hotspot. Once you’ve registered, they’ll also connect you
automatically whenever you’re in a Cloud hotspot.
It’s all part of our effort to make sure you get maximum value from your Sky Broadband
service. In fact, we’re expanding our Sky Broadband network so more and more customers can benefit
from Unlimited usage. Currently the Sky network covers 83% of UK homes and by the middle of next
year, we expect to reach a million more new homes.
