Series Link coming to our Sky+ app

Our Sky+ app is about to get better. Right now, you can use it to tell your Sky+ or Sky+HD box to record your favourite programmes, episode by episode.

In December, we’ll be enabling it to use our Series Link feature. That means you’ll be able to use the app to set your Sky box to record all the episodes of an entire series.  In fact, we’re about to add Series Link to our sky.com website so you’ll be able to test it beforehand; look out for updates.

Furthermore, we’ve designed a version of the Sky+ app just for Android tablets, and redesigned the app for Android phones. Now you’ll find that they look and work like the iPhone and iPad versions.

In total, we now offer ten mobile apps across the major handset platforms. That includes BlackBerry and Windows 7 devices as well as the ubiquitous Apple and Android-based operating systems. We know there’s an appetite for them, as so far they’ve racked up 18 million downloads. Customers just like you have watched over 30 million video clips, programmes and movies on our award-winning Sky Go app alone.

But we know that the mobile world, quite literally, never stands still. That’s why we’re constantly looking for ways to make our apps better, so that they offer you the convenience and innovation you expect from us. Thanks for downloading and we hope you continue to enjoy our apps on your phones and tablets.
