All you need to enjoy Sky+HD is an HD ready TV (make sure it has the 'HD ready' logo), a Sky+HD box and the HD Pack. Then, to watch programmes in stunning high definition, you'll need to select one of your available HD channels.
The HD Pack (€15 extra a month on top of your Sky TV package) gives you access to up to 61‡ HD channels, in line with your Sky TV subscription - that's more than any other Irish provider. Experience everything from sports and movies to arts, drama and documentaries, all in stunning high definition. The HD channels you receive depend on your Sky TV package. For example, if you have the standard definition Sky Sports, Sky Movies or Disney Cinemagic channel in your package you will receive the high definition version of that channel if available in the HD Pack.
We show hundreds of different films every month on twelve dedicated high definition movie channels so you can catch even more of the action and drama in stunning high definition. And, with more live sport, more HD coverage and more live 3D coverage than ever in 2011, Sky Sports viewers are enjoying an even bigger year in 2012.
For the first time we will show every practice and qualifying session and every race in the F1™ season live in HD, on a new dedicated channel, and at no extra charge to all Sky TV customers with the HD Pack. Programmes you've recorded can be accessed via the on-screen menu. Your Planner shows you all the programmes you've got stored, indicating what you've seen and what's waiting to be watched. To watch a recorded programme, go to the Planner, highlight the programme you want, and press "select".
You can record and store up to 185 hours of standard definition TV or around 60 hours of high definition TV on your Sky+HD box.
Your Sky+HD box will come with a Sky+HD remote control. You can buy additional remote controls, as well as a TV link to let you watch the same Sky channel on another TV.

Sky HD Multiroom Box is the SkyHD standard Digibox (No PVR functionality) which along with a Sky TV and Sky Multiroom subscription (€15 extra a month) gives your Sky TV subscription in another room. First box free for new and existing customers when taken with a new Sky Multiroom subscription and paying for set-up. Limited to one free box per household (and not available to customers who have already received a free standard box) otherwise €69. Replacement boxes are €99. Set-up is included as part of the box installation for new Sky TV customers, and €100 for existing customers. Non-standard set-up may cost extra.
