Your UAN (Universal Account Number) or EAN (Eir account number) is an 8 digit number that you will find on a recent bill from your current provider – select your current provider from the list below for more detail.

3. Let our Switch Squad do the rest

Our Switch Squad will speak to your current provider to cancel your contract so you don't have to.

How to Switch

We'll help you find your UAN, keep your number and arrange the transfer of your broadband, calls and line rental to Sky in three simple steps. Please select current provider:

  • Eir

    Step 1 - Find your UAN (or Eir Account Number) at the top of the first page of your Eir bill.

    Step 2 - Choose your products and place your order. Don't forget to provide your UAN to complete your purchase.

    Step 3 - We'll take care of the rest and will be in touch to confirm your order.

  • Vodafone

    Step 1 - You’ll find your UAN on the last page of a recent bill or online at broadband.vodafone.ie/myaccount.

    Step 2 - Choose your products and place your order. Don't forget to provide your UAN to complete your purchase.

    Step 3 - We'll take care of the rest and will be in touch to confirm your order.

  • Virgin Media

    If you have an active Eir compatible phone line:

    • - Find your UAN (or Eir account number) on your bill, then choose your products and place your order.

    If you don’t have an active Eir phone line, or you have a phone line from Virgin Media:

    • - Call us on 0818 719 832 if you are an existing Sky TV customer and we’ll place your order for Sky Broadband and Talk

    • - Call us on 0818 719 852 if you are new to Sky

    Once you’ve placed your order, we will be in touch to switch you to Sky Broadband and Talk. Please then contact Virgin Media to cancel your account with them.

  • Imagine

    Step 1 - Find your UAN on the second page of your Imagine bill under “Charges for Line Rental”.

    Step 2 - Choose your products and place your order. Don't forget to provide your UAN to complete your purchase.

  • Cinergi

    Step 1 - Find your UAN on the first page of your Cinergi bill beside the Sales Representative's name.

  • Gaelic Telecom

    Step 1 - Find your UAN at the lower left-hand side on the back of the first page of your Gaelic Telecom bill.

  • Newtel Communications

    Step 1 - Find your UAN on the first page of your Newtel Communications bill between the address and the bill summary. The 8 digits after the “ / ” is your UAN.

  • Digiweb (formerly TalkTalk)

    Step 1 - Find your UAN on the top left of the first page of your Digiweb bill.

    Free Sky HD box offer: Sky HD box free for new customers joining Sky TV online. One free box per household. This is a new customer offer. Minimum 12 month term applies. Set-up: standard set-up from €30, non-standard set-up may cost extra.

    €45 Sky Fibre Unlimited offer: Sky Fibre Unlimited €45pm for 12 months, €55pm thereafter. New customers in selected fibre areas only. Download speeds of up to 100Mb. External factors can affect speed. Prices based on customers taking Sky Fibre Unlimited with Sky Talk Freetime.

    Sky Multiscreen: €15 pm per box. Provides same Sky TV channels as main Sky TV subscription on another box. To receive HD Pack channels on your Multiscreen box you need a Sky HD box an HD Pack subscription (only one HD Pack subscription required per household). If you have home broadband, your Internet-enabled Sky boxes must be connected to your router if we’ve provided the equipment you need to connect (E.g. an On Demand connector). Multiscreen includes Sky Go Extra at no extra cost. Sky Go terms apply.

    Sky Box Office: Sky Box Office content costs extra. Pay per view charges apply. SBO 3D requires a 3DTV and Sky World HD subscription. Cable service may vary.

    Remote Record: Use sky.com or a compatible device. Requests require up to 30 minutes notice before start of programme.

    On Demand: Available to Sky TV customers with compatible Sky box. Downloading content requires compatible black Sky box, broadband connection (minimum recommended speed 2 Mbps), On Demand self set-up using built in Wi-Fi or own cable. Downloads count towards any usage caps and may expire from your Planner. Content depends on your Sky TV/HD subscription. Sky Store costs extra. Sky Cinema 1&2 or Sky Sports 1&2 required for Sky Cinema or Sky Sports. Downloadable HD content takes longer to start viewing.

    Sky Go:
    UK / Ireland only. Streamed via broadband/3G/4G/WiFi (charges may apply). Available on two registered compatible devices (content may vary). Some live TV programmes will be unavailable (go to - go.sky.com). For compatible device and software requirements click here. Sky Go is not currently compatible on PCs with Windows 8 or Macs with OS X Mountain Lion. Sky TV Customers: Live TV and on demand content available in line with your Sky TV subscription at no extra cost. You’ll need Sky Cinema 1&2 or Sky Sports 1&2 Packs for on demand Sky Cinema or Sky Sports. Non-Sky TV Customers: Subscriptions €29.50-85.50 per month. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until you unsubscribe.

    Sky Go Extra: Sky TV customers only. No extra cost with Sky Multiscreen, otherwise €6 extra a month. 31 days’ notice to cancel. Register up to 4 Sky Go devices, concurrent viewing on two devices. Download selected Sky Go content via WiFi (Unavailable on Xbox 360). Content depends on your Sky TV package. Cinema/Sports Pack(s) required to download movies/sports. Max 2 downloads per programme. Content deleted from device 48 hours after viewing starts or no later than 7 or 30 days after download depending on content.

     

  • Sky boxes and set-up

    Sky box: Existing Sky box households are not eligible for a discounted box. Existing customers must agree to new 12 month minimum term for Sky TV. Sky Box is €49 when you join Sky TV on a 12 month contract. One discounted box per household. Sky box up to €149 if you are not eligible for discounted price (Sky TV subscription required). You will receive a Sky HD box which has all the features of Sky and can store an average of 185 hours of standard definition programmes. To view free-to-air HD content you need an HD ready TV. To view Sky HD content you will also need the HD Pack (€15 a month).

    Sky HD box: Existing Sky box households are not eligible for a discounted box unless taking the HD Pack. Existing customers must agree to new 12 month minimum term for Sky TV. One free/discounted box per household. Sky HD box up to €149 if you are not eligible for discounted price (Sky TV subscription required). A Sky HD box can store an average of 60 hours of HD or 185 hours of standard definition programmes. HD ready TV required. To view Sky HD content you will also need the Family Bundle, or for HD Cinema, the Sky Cinema Bundle. For Sky Sports you will need the HD Pack (£6 a month on top of your sports subscription).

    Standard set-up: Standard set-up from €30, non-standard set-up may cost extra. Standard set-up for existing customers is €60. Standard set-up for customers is €30 for a Sky HD box taken with the HD Pack. 

    Sky HD 2TB box: From €49 for existing Sky TV customers who have never had a Sky HD box taking their first HD package (€15pm) or existing Sky HD customers adding Sky Multiscreen (€15pm per box). Existing Sky HD customers are entitled to one box from €149, additional 2TB boxes from €249. From €249 for any existing customer who received a discounted 1TB box. New customers joining Sky TV with the HD Pack are entitled to one box from €149. Any additional 2TB boxes thereafter or when taking without the HD Pack are from €249. Standard set-up €30 for new customers and €60 for existing Sky TV customers. Non-standard set-up may cost extra. Sky HD 2TB box provides 1.5TB of personal storage and 0.5TB of storage for On Demand Showcase content.

    Sky HD Multiscreen Box: [Only available with Multiscreen  subscriptions]. Sky HD Multiscreen Box is the SkyHD standard Digibox (No PVR functionality) which along with a Sky TV and Sky Multiscreen subscription (€15 extra a month) gives your Sky TV subscription in another room. First box free for new and existing customers when taken with a new Sky Multiscreen subscription and paying for set-up. Limited to one free box per household (and not available to customers who have already received a free standard box) otherwise €69. Replacement boxes are €99. Set-up is included as part of the box installation for new Sky TV customers, and €100 for existing customers. Non-standard set-up may cost extra.

    Broadband product availability is subject to location. Sky Talk (including line rental) required. Speeds vary with location and line quality. External factors such as internet congestion can affect speed. 

    Sky Fibre: Selected Fibre areas only. Speeds vary by location. Up to 100 Mb download speed. No usage caps. External factors can affect speed.

    #Sky Talk Freetime: Inclusive evening and weekend calls of up to an hour to the Republic of Ireland local and national landline numbers only (excludes calls to Directory Enquiries, indirect access, dial-up Internet numbers, mobile, and 0700 numbers) and then calls are charged at rate of 6.90c per minute (evening) and 1.40c per minute (weekend) . Evening – Monday to Friday, after 7pm and before 7am. Weekend - between midnight on Friday and midnight on Sunday. Fair Use Policy applies (see contracts for details). Eircom compatible phone line required. 12 month minimum subscription. Set up costs may apply. Sky Talk Line Rental required.

    **Sky Talk Anytime: Anytime calls of up to an hour to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland local and national landline numbers only (excludes calls to Directory Enquiries, indirect access, dial-up Internet numbers and 0700 numbers) and then charged at 6.90c per minute (daytime & evening) and 1.40c per minute (weekend).     Subject to status. Upfront payment may be required. Prices may go up during your subscription. Non-standard set-up may cost extra. Prices may vary if you live in a flat. Sky+ functionality requires two satellite feeds. You must get any consents required (e.g. landlord's). Prices for Direct Debit payments only. Continuous debit/credit card mandate costs 30p.

    Calls to Sky for non-Sky Talk customers cost 7p per minute plus your provider's access charge. Calls to 080 numbers are free. Calls to non-inclusive service numbers on a Sky Talk tariff will be charged 11.5p per minute access charge and a service charge from the owning operator.
