2. Tell us your UAN

Your UAN (Universal Account Number) or EAN (Eir account number) is an 8 digit number that you will find on a recent bill from your current provider – select your current provider from the list below for more detail.

3. Let our Switch Squad do the rest

Our Switch Squad will speak to your current provider to cancel your contract so you don't have to.

How to Switch

We'll help you find your UAN, keep your number and arrange the transfer of your broadband, calls and line rental to Sky in three simple steps. Please select current provider:

  • Eir

    Step 1 - Find your UAN (or Eir Account Number) at the top of the first page of your Eir bill.

    Step 2 - Choose your products and place your order. Don't forget to provide your UAN to complete your purchase.

    Step 3 - We'll take care of the rest and will be in touch to confirm your order.

  • Vodafone

    Step 1 - You’ll find your UAN on the last page of a recent bill or online at broadband.vodafone.ie/myaccount.

    Step 2 - Choose your products and place your order. Don't forget to provide your UAN to complete your purchase.

    Step 3 - We'll take care of the rest and will be in touch to confirm your order.

  • Virgin Media

    If you have an active Eir compatible phone line:

    • - Find your UAN (or Eir account number) on your bill, then choose your products and place your order.

    If you don’t have an active Eir phone line, or you have a phone line from Virgin Media:

    • - Call us on 0818 719 832 if you are an existing Sky TV customer and we’ll place your order for Sky Broadband and Talk

    • - Call us on 0818 719 852 if you are new to Sky

    Once you’ve placed your order, we will be in touch to switch you to Sky Broadband and Talk. Please then contact Virgin Media to cancel your account with them.

  • Imagine

    Step 1 - Find your UAN on the second page of your Imagine bill under “Charges for Line Rental”.

    Step 2 - Choose your products and place your order. Don't forget to provide your UAN to complete your purchase.

  • Cinergi

    Step 1 - Find your UAN on the first page of your Cinergi bill beside the Sales Representative's name.

    Step 1 - Find your UAN at the lower left-hand side on the back of the first page of your Gaelic Telecom bill.

  • Newtel Communications

    Step 1 - Find your UAN on the first page of your Newtel Communications bill between the address and the bill summary. The 8 digits after the “ / ” is your UAN.

  • Digiweb (formerly TalkTalk)

    Step 1 - Find your UAN on the top left of the first page of your Digiweb bill.

  • Sky boxes and set-up

    All Sky Q kit is loaned to you at no cost and must be returned at the end of your subscription. Sky Q 1TB box: 700GB personal storage. Sky Q 2TB box: 1.7TB personal storage. 300GB storage reserved by Sky.

    Installation: Engineer set-up required. Standard installation: New Sky TV customers: Sky Q 1TB box: €20 with or without a Sky Q Multiscreen subscription; Sky Q 2TB box: €120 or €80 if you also take a Sky Q Multiscreen subscription. Existing customers when taking a Sky Q Multiscreen subscription: Sky Q 1TB box: up to €60; Sky Q 2TB box: up to €120. Prices discounted to €20 for Sky Q 1TB box or €80 for Sky Q 2TB for existing customers without a current Sky multiscreen subscription. Existing customers not taking a Sky Q Multiscreen subscription pay €149 for Sky Q 1TB and €179 for Sky Q 2TB.

    Sky Q Multiscreen subscription required to: 1) Watch TV around the home on tablets or more than one TV. A fee of €120 is payable per additional TV and we’ll lend you one Sky Q Mini per extra TV, at no cost. For new Sky TV customers there is no charge for the first additional TV. For existing Sky TV customers without Sky Multiscreen, the first additional TV fee is discounted to €40. For optimal network performance we recommended connecting no more than four Sky Q Mini boxes. Evening – Monday to Friday, after 7pm and before 7am. Weekend - between midnight on Friday and midnight on Sunday. Fair Use Policy applies (see contracts for details).
