Sky Anytime+ wired set-up

  • This option is recommended if your Sky+HD box and broadband router are close together and you are comfortable with setting-up Sky Anytime+ yourself. Sky Anytime+ is now available with any broadband provider for a wired set-up, you’ll just need to connect your Sky+HD box to your broadband router using an Ethernet cable.

  • First, you need to make sure you have an Ethernet cable to connect your Sky+HD box to your broadband router. It will need to be a Cat-5 Ethernet cable, with suitable RJ-45 connectors which can be bought from most computer retailers.

    Push one end of the cable into a spare Ethernet port on your broadband router and the other end into the Ethernet port on the back of your Sky+HD box.
    Once this is done you’ll see an on-screen message instructing you to push select on your Sky remote control and follow the on screen instructions.
