Sky wireless N router

  • Sky wireless N routerOur best ever wireless router uses the latest wireless technology to give you a more reliable signal and greater range through your home.

You can connect wirelessly and securely to the Sky wireless N router using a different method. This is called WPS (WiFi Protected Setup), and there’s no password or network key to remember.

If your device is not WPS compatible, you can still connect wirelessly to the router using a password as you did for previous Sky Routers. You can also find your network in your “available wireless networks” and press the WPS button on the side of your router - no more entering the wrong password.

You’ll need to set up your Sky wireless N router before you can connect wirelessly. If you aren’t sure how to do this, follow our step-by-step instructions in our handy guide.

How do I switch from an old router to the new Sky wireless N router?

It’s simple. When you receive your new Sky wireless N router, return your old one to Sky or recycle it responsibly. Plug in your new router, look for the signal in your “available wireless networks” and press the WPS button on the side of the router to connect. If you need more help, you can read our guides on how to connect using Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and other devices.

Wireless USB adaptorWhat is a Wireless USB adaptor and do I need one?

If you use an older PC or Mac computer and you currently need to use a dongle or an Ethernet cable (a yellow cable connected to your computer from your router) to go online, you’ll need to use a Wireless USB adaptor (pictured right)  to connect to the internet using the latest N technology.
