The signal to your viewing card can take between 10 to 24 hours to be received, so if you've
recently upgraded your viewing package, your new channels may not be available immediately.
If you've ordered a package upgrade, but continue to see an error message asking you to
upgrade when you attempt to access one of the channels included in your new package, you can
manually speed up your upgrade.
When you've completed these steps, try accessing the channels again, they should appear
normally:
- Press services on your Sky remote control to access the options menu, then press the select
button to continue. Scroll through the menu using the
left/right arrows to highlight settings.
- Press
select to access the settings menu, now
Press 0 (zero), then
1, then
select to access the Installer Setup menu.
- Scroll through the menu, press the
right arrow five times, to highlight the New Install option.
- Press
select and you'll see the 'Ensure that the satellite dish is correctly aligned...'
message, once this shows press
select to continue.
- Press
select again to continue, the channel scan process will begin.Wait for the
'Channel line up complete' message to appear. When it does, press
select to continue. You'll see the "Callback in progress" message.
- When your Sky box has performed the callback via your telephone line, you'll see the
'Installation complete' message. Press
select to complete the process.
