Set up: Lead times for new customers (excludes Highlands & Islands) currently average 5-7 days. Non standard & broadband installs may experience longer lead times. Standard set-up for new Sky TV customers is £30 or free where you qualify for a £99 Sky+HD box. Standard set-up for existing Sky TV customers is £60. £120 without Sky TV. Non-standard set-up may cost extra. Activation for existing customers taking Sky Broadband only is £75 for Base (or £25 less when combined with Sky Talk).
Sky TV Subscription: Packages from £17-£47 a month.
£15 credit: We will credit £15 to your account if you join Sky TV online or upgrade your existing Sky box online. Credit will be made to your Sky digital account within 60 days of your Sky TV viewing card being enabled.
Sky+HD: The channels you receive with the HD Pack depend on your Sky TV package. If you have the standard definition Sky Sports or Sky Movies channel in your package you will receive the high definition version of that channel if available in the HD Pack. Sky+HD requires Sky TV, a Sky+HD box and the HD Pack (£10 extra per month) and is the new name for Sky HD. Sky+ subscription required for Personal Video Recorder features (free for Sky TV customers, or £10 pm). Dolby Digital surround sound requires a compatible home cinema system. £299 without Sky TV. Luxe TV HD, Channel 4 HD and BBC HD are available without subscription. Channel 4 HD requires a viewing card. Box designs vary. You need a HD Ready TV to experience the full benefits of Sky+HD.
Only one £99 Sky+HD box per household.
Sky Multiroom: £10 a month. Provides the same Sky TV channels as your main Sky TV subscription on a box in another room. You must subscribe to Sky TV throughout and an extra box is required for each Multiroom subscription. Each box you have must be connected to the same fixed telephone line at all times. If you’re not eligible for a free Sky box, a standard Sky box is £49 with Multiroom (£99 without). To receive your HD subscription channels in another room, you’ll need another Sky+HD box and HD Pack subscription.
Sky Broadband: Connect product at £17 a month is available to customers outside our network area. Some prices may increase from 1 March 2009. Monthly usage limits: Base – 2GB; If your PC/laptop is not wireless enabled, you can buy the necessary equipment from Sky. Wireless coverage depends on variable factors within the home.
Sky Talk: Sky Talk is only available to Sky digital subscribers paying by Direct Debit/continuous credit card mandate. Not available to BT Light Users or if outgoing calls are barred.
General: Your Sky box(es) must be connected to a fixed telephone line for 12 months. Sky+HD box prices may vary if you live in a flat. You must get any consents required (e.g. landlord’s). Minimum Sky digital/Sky+/Sky+HD/Multiroom/Sky Broadband subscriptions 12 months. You must be 18 years or over. Channels/programmes prices subject to change.
